Do It...or Quit!

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! Today's topic is "Do it...or Quit!" What this means is that you must make up your mind on whether you are going to pursue your dreams or throw in the towel. Like many people, you are probably preparing for the new year. You have your heart and mind ready to conquer the wonderful ideas you want to see flourish. While this is great and all, sometimes you can often allow the past to creep in and obliterate the plans you have, which in turn brings torment and causes you to self destruct. Instead of embracing your future with vision and hope, you begin to adjust your focus from the excitement of your success, to complaining about your past, which you cannot change. The next thing you know, what once was a fresh, new, million dollar idea has become a rotten thing of the past that has been destroyed by fear and pain of yesterday. This happens to the best of us. In my prayer time, I was mediating on God but in my spirit I was concerned about my pasted situations and challenges. I heard in my spirit after prayer, "You're going to either do it or Quit!" In other words, if you are going to make things work in your life, you are either going to do it by faith, or you must simply quit and stay in the state of mind of doubt and fear. This is not to say that you won't be challenged by decisions that you've made in your life whether good, bad, or indifferent but it is to say that whatever decision you made you did it, so live with it and move on. One of hardest mental road blocks in life is the feeling that you have failed your self, family and love ones. However, true failure only comes when you quit. The Bible states that we should count up the cost when we are building, so you need to understand the process of building. You must build yourself up mind, body, soul and spirit. This will give you the proper strength to withstand both the good and the challenging days. I dare you to go back to the drawing board of your visions and dreams and either "Do it...or Quit." It's as simple as that. Here are effective 6 tips to assist you in doing your job 1. Don't let fear of failure make you quit. 2. If it didn't work, reassess the situation and try again. 3. Keep moving forward. 4. People can hinder you but they can' t stop you unless you let them. 5. Quitters never win, winners never quit. 6. In all your ways knowledge God and he will direct your path (Proverb 3:6)
